Our campaigns are geared to provide support and assistance for each of our client markets in areas that are most important to them.

We need your support. We work hard at USOH to build our community. Some of the Top Case Studies and Victories of What USOH has done 2008-2011:
- Worked with dozens of businesses to build employment opportunities for Veterans.
- Produced several video stories of encouragement and benefit to our members.
- Helped develop Veterans Courts.
- Attended, supported, administered 8 Stand Downs (including first ever Bozeman).
- Created an Education Account for Iraqi war orphans and fully funded Snowboarding trips (1st time experiences).
- Created an opportunity for education funding and a resettlement job for Iraqi Interpreter, with $5,000 funded by USOH partnering with University of Montana.
- Drafted ASUM resolution to support Interpreters, meetings with Governor Schweizter/ President Dennison (UM) and advocacy and transition assistance. Worked hard to get Interpreters established and citizenship in America, which was a great team accomplishment.
- Supported Numerous Vets business and charity projects in Western Montana such as the Vet Center, Valor House, United Veterans Council, VA, SVA, and other organizations.
- Ran dozens of Marathons in Montana, Germany, Washington DC and Oregon to raise money to help Veterans, Military Families and Interpreters.
- Cut Donor Checks to Family Resource Groups in ND, and MT.
- Attended Business Development Workshops for Veterans.
- Led Panels for better VA Care and treatment of Veterans with VA Secretary and US Senators & Representatives.
- Conducted Stanford University Leadership Challenge Training to 25 Leaders in Missoula Montana over 14 weeks. Leadership development is important to USOH.
- Supported Military units by attending dedications, memorials, funerals and ribbon cutting ceremonies of Armed Forces Center.
- Led United Methodist Children Culture & Language Awareness Day in Northwest Montana.
- Staffed International Student Festivals at University of Montana, and events at Carroll College, MSU and several other colleges and universities.
- Conducted Language and Culture Training for DOD Workshops to include members of the Pentagon, DLI and Quantico (US Marines) Joint Service training.
- Led 5 student interns through internship credits with USOH, human development is important at USOH.
- Attended Numerous Memorial and Veteran Day Week Events.
- Led Letters of Love community projects with over 200 members in the community writing letters to war orphans – Community support.
- Raised over 1,000 books, dvds, and cd’s for Pages of Hope a literacy project for war orphans and children at risk in our local community. 3 E’s, Literacy, Human Development.
- Supported Dave Ramsay Financial Peace University Curriculum training in Western Montana and US Army Chaplain Corps - Economic Empowerment/Human Development.
- Supported Northern Virginia Fundraisers for Wounded Warriors and Warrior Transition for Military.
- Veterans & Military Support through advocacy, counseling and social work for our clients.
- Organized and Facilitated Legislative Day in Montana for USOH. Met with leaders of the Senate, House and Governor’s office as well as conducted several workshops on issues USOH works on.
- Worked with Student Vet Coordinators on several proposals and attended and spoke at several briefings for Student Vets.
- Visited Congressman Rehberg, Senator Tester, Senator Baucus and dozens of congressional staff offices numerous times to discuss USOH client issues and worked hard on our clients behalf.
- Worked with Army FORSCOM & G1 on Social Work Veteran Cases built systems and rapport.
- Built relationships with hundreds of interpreters across the US through advocacy in the LIST project partnership and individual “terp” case support.
- Worked with US Marine Combat units and team leaders to deliver supplies to Iraqi Orphans and needed literacy tools and Letters of Love.
- Worked with dozens of local Western Montana Vets to assess needs and help with assistance with other community resources – Social Work is a huge part of our work at USOH.
- Worked on Section 8 housing for local Veterans.
- Existed as a counseling forum for Missoula being listed in the Montana State VA system as a top office for counseling and one stop shop resource for Vets.
- Organized Community Events like Christmas 4 Vets concerts to provide healthy community activities and warm the spirit of our supporters. Raised money for USOH and great bands have been a part of this program.
- USOH wrote encouraging op-eds for Haiti and produced video’s to donate to legitimate relief organizations in Haiti as well as sent 20 boxes and care packages…
